ROCKFORD — Janet Wattles Center will host a seminar on the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in children and adolescents from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Giovanni’s Restaurant and Convention Center, 610 N. Bell School Road.
Presenters Dr. Carol Craig, of Mildred Berry Center; Dr. Thomas Wright, of Rosecrance; Thomas Phelan, PH.D., author of “123 Magic”; and Dr. Michael Ishi, of Dean Health System, will discuss how ADHD is diagnosed, and ADHD behavioral and medical treatments.
The $80 cost includes all materials, and breakfast and lunch. The seminar offers 7.5 continuing-education units for social workers, counselors, LMFTs, IAODAPCA and 7.5 CPDU’s for teachers.
