Medical director earns board certification

Dr. Tracy Brito earned board certification in the specialty of phlebology from the American Board of Phlebology.

To become an ABPh diplomate, an applicant must complete training or experience qualifications, meet continuing education requisites and pass a certification examination.

Brito is medical director of InnovaMed Veins, which has offices in Rockford and Freeport.

She offers free consultations to evaluate disorders of veins, including varicose veins, spider veins and hemorrhoids.
