OSF offers sports physicals

OSF Medical Group physicians are offering sports physicals to students in Rockford-area schools.

The exams will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at OSF Medical Group – Spring Creek, 6830 Villagreen View, and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 4 and 6, at OSF Medical Group – Roxbury, 621 Roxbury Road.

Participants are asked to bring with them their exam form with the parent/athlete section completed.

The cost of the physical is $25, payable by cash or check at the time of the exam. Exams will not be billed to insurance companies.

To support athletics in area schools, OSF Medical Group will contribute $5 from each exam to each high school’s booster club.

Sports physical exams for grammar school students will be conducted, but contributions to grade school booster clubs are not available. Sports physicals for college students are not offered.
