CARBONDALE — Southern Illinois University says the school has no more flu vaccines.

Officials with the school’s student health center on the Carbondale campus say they’ve seen an overwhelming response for the vaccinations. SIU spokesman Rod Sievers said the university expects about 250 more doses of the seasonal flu vaccine in November.

The school had to cancel a fourth planned student flu clinic on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the school says it expects to receive a first shipment of swine flu vaccines in the next two weeks. Sievers says the school requested 8,000 doses. The campus has had one confirmed case of swine flu.
